Lilikoi Sour

2 oz Gin
3/4 oz Passion Fruit Syrup
3/4 oz Lemon Juice
3/4 oz Egg White
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
Garnish: Blood Orange Wheel

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and dry shake (without ice) for 15 seconds. Add ice and shake for another 15 seconds. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a blood orange wheel.


Lilikoi is the Hawaiian term for yellow passion fruit. And while fresh passion fruit may not always be available, you can usually find quality passion fruit syrups in your local fine grocery store.

If you don’t have a dried blood orange wheel (found at specialty cocktail supply shops or grocery stores), you can make your own using a dehydrator or even your oven.
