Boulevardier

Boulevardier

1 oz Bourbon Whiskey
1 oz Campari
1 oz Red Vermouth
Garnish: Orange Twist

Combine all ingredients in an ice-filled mixing glass. Stir for 20 seconds until very cold. Strain into an old fashioned glass (with one large ice cube) and garnish with a orange twist.

There have been plenty of riffs created off the classic Negroni. And none more iconic (in its own right) than the Boulevardier. You’re basically swapping out gin for whiskey, 1 for 1. And in many cases, I’ll opt for this over the Negroni as I feel the whiskey makes for a much smoother drink. What do you think?
